The UK government’s plans to spend an obscene £167 billion on a useless system of Weapons of Mass Destruction are coming under more and more challenge, and the SNP are leading with others to try to bring this madness to an end.

Demonstration on Saturday in London, against nuclear weapons, I joined my cross party colleagues at a photocall in parliament earlier today.
The welcome electrification of lines running into Queen St high level means Network Rail need to close the station from 20th March. There will be inevitable disruption if you are travelling north or east of the city. The electrification is part of a long term plan to bring Scotland’s railways into the 21st century after decades of under-investment. Had a good meeting this morning with Aqeel Ahmed, a member of the Scottish Youth Parliament, for Glasgow Pollok, We discussed the Scottish Youth Parliament report on Poverty, as well as Zero hours contracts, and low wages of Young People, and that the UK Living Wage should apply to workers under the age of 25.
This afternoon I went along to GHA’s office on Mosspark Boulevard to hear what their future plans are and how my office can work alongside them to help tenants and residents better.
